Madison Favorites!

Big News!!!! If you've followed my blog before then you already know about my incredibly talented husband. Well now it seems Madison is catching on as well. Recently the Isthmus published the results of their annual Madison Favorites poll. Aaron's band was awarded the # 2 spot on the BEST NEW BAND category. I am so excited for them! The whole group is so incredibly talented.... definitely worth a listen the next time you are out on the town. The band Aaron Williams & the Hoodoo will be playing a regular gig every other Tuesday at the Brink. If you've never been to the Brink you really need to check it out. This is a great bar for Martini's and music. I highly recommend the Mint Mocha... dangerously good. Aaron will be starting there next Tuesday September 4th.

6 Months

A midst the schedule of high school seniors I had a chance to visit with little Avery again for her 6 month photos. Some of you may remember this cutie from her teacup photo at 3 months old. http://http://blog.angelicangles.com/2007/05/baby-avery.html Well she is still as precious as ever and just completely full of smiles.....

What a week....

WOW! To say that this week was crazy would be a major understatement. The past couple of weeks have been absolutely nuts. With school starting next week I have been photographing seniors from sun up til sun down. If you've sent me an email recently my apologies for the delay. Most nights I haven't gotten home long before 9:00 and then I have just enough time for dinner and backing up all my images files before starting things all over again. Luckily the weather is finally starting cooperate with us so that we can get back outside.
On top of the craziness of my work shooting schedule recently one of our cars decided to die on us. Poor Aaron has had to hike to and from the dealerships as well as riding his bike in to work. That's a good hour bike ride! Nothing like feeling guilty about hogging the one working vehicle:) So I thought it would be a nice gesture to pick my sweetie up from work Tuesday night rather then making him bike home. Wouldn't you know the second he was in the car and we were heading home we popped a tire! When it rains, it pours....
Anyway... now you know the fun I've been having this past week. Lucky for me I know a good car shop:) My sincere apologies to all my anxious customers who have called or emailed. I think at this point I've finally responded back to everyone, thanks for your patience. Here is a sneak peek of some of my favorites from the recent weeks.

McKenna

This week I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful McKenna. This little angel is the daughter of Katie & Scot a couple who's wedding I photographed a few years ago. It's always such an incredible experience to meet these sweet little bundles.... especially after being a part of the wedding plans. I truly am blessed to be able to capture the true highlights of my clients lives. Here's a little sneak peek for proud mom & dad.

Someone has stolen my heart....

And he's all of 7 months old with the most gorgeous brown eyes you have ever seen! Meet the newest member of the Andersen family.... my adorable nephew Jaden. Don't you just want to squeeze those cheeks? You can bet your going to see a lot more of this cutie on my website. With a subject this photogenic though it's really a crime not to have him in the studio all day every day...

Heidi & Kevin

It was a wet and rainy day for a wedding... enough to drive some brides to tears. If a hurricane had blown through Wisconsin I still think Heidi would have been smiling. The excitement of their wedding day was evident from the very start. Unfortunately the rain did change a few of the wedding day plans but both Heidi and Kevin just rolled with it. Beneath an outdoor tent showered with thunder and heaps of water these two couldn't take their eyes off of each other. My the rains of your wedding day shower you both with good wishes the rest of your marriage!

Could you really blame him for sneaking a taste?!? I mean we are talking about cake here....

Seniors, Seniors, Seniors

Well I am back and so excited to try all of the cool new techniques I learned at my workshop. This weeks schedule was all about the class of 2008. Hard to believe the school year is only a few weeks away!!!
