Lindsey & Justin - Married!

I love 'How We Met' stories. They warm my heart... watching a couple replay the story for me with a sparkle in their eyes.. as if they are still there in the moment. I ask everyone. Sometimes they make me laugh, sometimes their romantic gestures make me envious, and always they make me smile. But Lindsey & Justin's 'How We Met' story may be one of the best I've ever heard. And you don't have to take my word for it.. they shared it for all of you below. What I love the most about their story (beyond the fact that mom set them up.. I mean come on? How many people can you say your mom set you up with your spouse?) What I love is that it speaks volumes about who they are as individuals and their immense love for a little girl named Alexis. So very happy for this beautiful family!

Where did you go (or are you going) for your Honeymoon? 

Haven’t gone yet, but Vegas or Door County for a long weekend.

How did you two meet?

Lindsey and Justin met by the fate of a little girl named Alexis (6 months at the time). Justin took his daughter, Alexis, to a local neighbor with a in-home day care service run by Theresa Acker. Theresa had a daughter, the soon to be bride, Lindsey. Often times when Justin would drop off Alexis he would see Lindsey, whether she was filling in for her mom or just in passing. For years Justin had a secret crush on Lindsey, which unknown to him Lindsey did too. One day, Theresa Acker decided to play matchmaker and secretly arranged for the two to meet on Lindsey's 21st birthday. Theresa told Justin it was Lindsey's birthday and mentioned that Lindsey said to come out and celebrate, when in reality Lindsey had never said that. Theresa then told Lindsey to message him on Facebook, which she did. The two exchanged numbers and met up for the birthday festivities.  The night ended with a kiss and the rest is history.

How long have you been dating?

Dated for 2 years and engaged for 1.5 years.
