As a former teacher I tried my hardest not to play favorites... but now that I'm out of the school system I'm going to forget that rule. Congratulations to my very favorite Seniors around, my former students at Cambridge High School! I hope that all of your graduation festivities are perfect. As you finish this major step in your lives remember to dream big for the future. John Updike said, "Dreams come true; without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them." May all of your dreams come true. Best of luck to all the Cambridge High School graduates. I miss you guys:)

Yesterday I had an engagement shoot with the gorgeous Laura & Mike. Really these two are about as good looking as they come and yet at the same time so very relaxed. I just started proofing the session and already I'm thinking we should refer Laura to Colgate... such a pretty smile. Here are just a few of my favorites so far. Can't wait for the wedding this fall!

This week I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful and so very spunky Taylor. Taylor just celebrated a milestone.. her fourth birthday. That's when Rufus came along. With these two the energy was definitely contagious. Really how could you not be completely in love with their matching brown eyes?!?

This wedding was definitely a new and exciting experience for me. I can't remember photographing a wedding before where the only word I understand during the ceremony was amor! Yes, I know... one word in Spanish is pretty weak. Test me on my German and I'll do much better:) My language barrior did nothing to diffuse the beauty of this wedding though. The ceremony music was incredible; some of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.... and wow could this group dance! Congratulations again Laylin & Julio. I hope your family had a safe (and smooth) trip home.

This past week I had the pleasure of meeting the beautiful three month old Avery. It's been a crazy week so I only just got a chance to start proofing the session today. When I came across these images they seemed to jump out at me considering all of the Mother's Day festivities yesteray. Here's hoping everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day whether your children are big or small.....

A Cinco de Mayo wedding! I worked with Kelly and Brian last fall when we shot their engagement photos. I had a blast working with them then so I knew their wedding would not disappoint. Any time I have the opportunity to photograph at a new location it's bound to be exciting.. but couple that with the fact that this new location was Camp Randall.... let's just say if you could have seen me Saturday - I was like a kid in a candy store:) Here are just a few of the many fun shots we took. Congratulations you two!
Practicing your dance moves in the middle of Camp Randall.... really, does life get any better then this?!?
